Management Team

Gary Watson

Chief Operations Officer

Gary Watson has over 30 years' experience delivering operational excellence across datacenter platforms globally. He has held senior roles including Country Manager and Director at Keppel DC REIT (Ireland), where he oversaw strategic, financial, commercial, and operational aspects of their datacenter portfolio for 10 years.

Previously, he was General Manager Ireland and European Leadership Team member at Sungard Availability Services, responsible for country P&L, sales, and operations across managed IT services, cloud computing, and datacenter solutions. Earlier at TelecityGroup (now Equinix), Gary integrated TeleCity, Redbus and Globix operations, managed seven London datacenters totaling 250,000 square feet, built out datacenters across Amsterdam, Sweden, Germany, UK and Ireland.

At Stellanor, Gary ensures operational consistency across our growing platform - facilities that remain secure, work reliably, teams that deliver safely, and service standards that remain personal as we scale, while not compromising our sustainability goals.

Mariska Van Beukering

Chief Marketing Officer

Mariska van Beukering has over 15 years' experience building brands and demand generation strategies across the global datacenter industry. She most recently served as VP of Marketing at nLighten, where she built the marketing function, rebranded assets across seven countries, drove pipeline creation and accelerated brand recognition across UK, France, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany.

Previously, she spent eight years at Equinix, rising to lead Americas Field Marketing across the Americas, establishing Equinix UK as a leading name in digital infrastructure and delivering growth through integrated digital campaigns. Earlier at TelecityGroup (now part of Equinix), she shaped the marketing strategy for carrier-neutral colocation across Europe.

At Stellanor, Mariska is establishing the brand presence and demand generation engine that positions urban AI-ready colocation as the category standard for enterprises requiring proximity, capability, and institutional backing.

Howard Pheby

Chief Commercial Officer

Howard Pheby has over 30 years' experience building commercial teams and customer relationships across the global datacenter industry, spanning hyperscale, wholesale, and retail colocation markets in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. He joins Stellanor from Pure Data Centres Group, where he served as Business Development Director for nearly 10 years, leading commercial strategy across UK, Europe, and Middle East markets.

Previously, he held senior commercial roles including Sales Director at Telehouse Europe, Business Development Director at Rack Centre (West Africa's leading colocation provider), and Sales Director and European Business Unit Director for Data Centre Services at COLT Telecom. Earlier in his career, he founded 5nines Data Centres.

At Stellanor, Howard leads all commercial functions including sales, business development, and customer success - turning infrastructure momentum into commercial growth by building relationships with enterprises that need urban proximity, AI-ready capability, and responsive service.

David Manning

Group Operations Director

David Manning has over 25 years experience in critical service operations spanning data centers, international banking and regulated telecommunications. He has held senior roles including leadership positions at PXC (TalkTalk Group), Virtual1 and Telstra, with responsibility for networks, cloud and data center operations, performance and improvement.

Prior to this he headed up data center and client operations at PSINet and Global Switch, with responsibility for service and infrastructure delivery across a portfolio of European sites.

Michael Tobin CBE

Chairman of Stellanor Datacenters

Michael is a highly experienced entrepreneur and business leader in the technology and data infrastructure space, currently serving as Chairman for several companies including DWS-backed NorthC Datacenters and non-executive Director of DWS-backed MediTerra Datacenters. Michael previously led TelecityGroup PLC as CEO, growing it from a £6 million business to a £2.5 billion market cap before its sale to Equinix. He has held numerous leadership and advisory roles across global tech and infrastructure firms. In 2025, Michael was awarded the Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) by King Charles III.

Alexandra Schless

Non-executive Director of Stellanor Datacenters

Alexandra is the Chief Executive Officer of NorthC Datacenters, a role she has held since October 2019 and where was appointed to lead the newly formed NorthC following the merger of NLDC (formerly owned by KPN) and The Datacenter Group. Alexandra has over 20 years of experience in the datacenter and telecom industries, having previously held senior roles at TelecityGroup and Equinix, including serving as Vice President Global Accounts & Networks for Equinix EMEA. Alexandra also serves as Chair of DWS-backed MediTerra Datacenters.

Aparna Narain

Non-executive Director of Stellanor Datacenters

Aparna is a London based Partner in the European Infrastructure Private Equity division of DWS and is responsible for origination and analysis of infrastructure investment opportunities, leading the execution of transactions and the ongoing management of portfolio companies. Aparna is a member of the Investment Committees of the Pan-European Infrastructure Fund and Sustainable Growth Infrastructure Fund series funds. Aparna leads DWS’ datacenter investment strategy and was involved in the original acquisition of NLDC (formerly owned by KPN) and The Datacenter Group in 2019, which were subsequently combined to create NorthC Datacenters and the acquisition of Cloud Europe in 2024 which formed the first investment and creation of MediTerra Datacenters.

Oliver Sadik

Non-executive Director of Stellanor Datacenters

Oliver is a London based Senior Principal in the European Infrastructure Private Equity division of DWS and is responsible for leading asset management for a number of funds and leading the transaction team on key infrastructure investment transactions. Oliver is at the forefront of DWS’ digital and datacenter investment strategy and involved in the original acquisition of NLDC (formerly owned by KPN) and The Datacenter Group in 2019, which were subsequently combined to create NorthC Datacenters and the acquisition of Cloud Europe in 2024 which formed the first investment and creation of MediTerra Datacenters.
